The steps are as follows( the steps are performed on Windows 7 32 bit Operating system):
Right click on the Computer icon on desktop (or from Start menu), and click on Properties.

On the left pane of the window, you will see System Protection. Click on it.


Select the Ports(COM & LPT) drop down list and you’ll see your net-setter communication ports. Double click the ports.

On the new window, select Port Settings tab and change the values to the following new ones.
Bits per second : 128000
Data bits : 8
Parity : None
Stop Bits : 1
Flow Control : Hardware

And finally click OK button.
Now enjoy your newly found internet speed.
